Low level, forest and mountain walks are virtually on the doorstep. Numerous Scottish "Munros" are nearby with the famous Schiehallion just minutes away. For mountain bikers, Drummond Hill with miles of excellent tracks is on the doorstep.

There are 18 hole golf courses at nearby Kenmore (2 miles) and Aberfeldy (5 miles). Aberfeldy's putting green is fun for all the family.
Fishing
Fly and course fishing permits are available locally. The River Tay is famed for its quality trout and salmon fishing.
White Water Rafting
The trip along the River Tay from Aberfeldy to Grandtully is one of the best in Britain.

For the experienced paddler with their own equipment the local rivers offer excellent white water.

Aberfeldy Leisure Centre (5 miles) has a 25m pool, sauna, jacuzzi and indoor sports including squash and a multi-gym.
Theatre
The Festival Theatre ('stay 6 days and see 6 plays') in nearby Pitlochry is world famous.
Whisky Distillery Tours
There are a number of local distilleries open to visitors including one in Aberfeldy (5 miles) and another in nearby Pitlochry.
Sightseeing and Visitor Attractions
There are numerous local attractions and beauty spots including The Birks of Aberfeldy (stunning waterfalls walk), Soldier's Leap (where a soldier in Bonnie Prince Charlie's army made a daring leap over a raging river whilst fleeing the 'auld' enemy) and the Fish Ladder in Pitlochry where salmon can be seen making their annual migration up the river.
Day Trips
The pretty town of Pitlochry (Festival Theatre, Fish Ladder) is only 21 miles away while Perth (all facilities) can be reached in about 45 minutes. To the South, Crieff lies 30 miles away through the scenic Sma' Glen (superb for picnics where children can play by the stream). The village of Killin lies at the other end of Loch Tay and from there Loch Lomond and the West Coast are within easy driving distance.
